Using Anti-Aging Lip Balm

The lips unlike the skin on the face, arms, neck, etc. do not have a thick dead cell layer for extra protection. The skin on the remainder of the body has a generous stratum corneum which protects the skin from the sun and other environmental stressors.

Most older women don’t realize, the lips can not only get sunburned, but they can also develop cancer. Anti aging lip balm considers all those hazards and incorporates the solutions to those problems into the serum that makes up the lip balm.

Some of the ingredient that are used are high-emollient enriched essential fatty acids, shea butter, cacao seed butter, hyaluronic acid, and SPF products rich in zinc or titanium. One popular lip balm is composed of vitamin C, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and protective minerals forming a moisture locking film over the lips. Another uses the rich butters and moisturizing oils: cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, and coconut oil along with the antioxidant vitamin E moisturizes to heal chapped and dry lips.
