The Appeal Of Diving In Bali

The island of Bali offers some of the best diving anywhere, as well as stunning scenery and a unique culture. One appealing thing about Bali diving is that it provides plenty of opportunities to get up close with a variety of sea creatures, including sunfish, manta rays, turtles and sharks. Another reason to dive here is to explore the spectacular coral reefs that the island is known for; the surrounding waters are home to an estimated 400 species of coral. Diving around Bali also offers the chance to explore several submerged wrecks, including the WW II cargo ship USS Liberty. Pemuteran on the island’s northwest coast also offers diving among sunken temples, statues and sculptures. April to November is the dry season in this part of the world, and the best time for diving, although it’s possible to dive here year round.
