The Global Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals or Global Development Goals have been 17 interrelated global goals designed to be a blueprint for achieving a sustainable and equitable future for humanity. The SDGs are the primary drivers for curbing greenhouse gas emissions, preserving and creating mother earth, and ensuring the well-being of current and future generations. Although these different goals seek to meet similar ends, how they do so and the time scales they set for achieving them have mainly been different. While many nations have adopted an inclusive approach to their SDGs, others have put forward individual, sustainable development goals for their countries.

The creation of the SDG emerged out of the need to increase sustainable development throughout the world. . The development plan for each country is unique and should be taken into account when developing a sustainable development strategy and its implementation.
