If you have a daughter in gymnastics, it won’t be long before you begin to acquire numerous leotards and gym shorts. Of course, depending on the level your gymnast has reached, the girls gymnastics wear that she’ll need will vary. Oftentimes, younger girls will wear unitards or even simple ballet leotards; however, as your daughter progresses and gains proficiency in the sport, she’ll probably begin to transition to leotards designed specifically for gymnastics.
Quality leotards for gymnasts will be made to stand up to regular use and laundering. Additionally, the leotard and shorts will need to be flexible and rather tight. Clothes that bag or sag can get caught on the bars or beam, it can also make it hard for coaches to see the gymnast’s lines.
