Hydroponic Units Play An Important Role In The Hydroponic System

Hydroponic units are the individual pods used in which to grow plants. Depending on the type of plant grown, the unit will be sized appropriately to house a full-grown version of that plant. As the plant grows from seedling to a fully adult grown plant, ready to harvest and consume, it will remain housed in that unit.

The root system will be allowed to expand reaching outside the unit’s containment if necessary. As the plant matures, the hydroponic unit will continue to receive nutrients through the water that flows directly through the unit. It is one of the many units included in the normal hydroponic system of gardens.

As a part of the hydroponic garden, the one unit will receive and pass on the nutrients flowing through the garden’s watering system. Each unit plays a key role in keeping the entire system functioning.
