Vinyl flooring installation is fairly easy if you have a cutting machine and the proper tools. Your vinyl flooring can come in squares or sheets. Vinyl sheets are usually cut like carpet, though square strips should be laid in a pattern of some sort. Do not make the mistake of starting at a single corner with your vinyl plank pattern.
First, layout your vinyl and cut a random length as per the manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure that you measure across the entire width of the room where you plan to place the cut edge of the tile. It would probably be a good idea to also measure across the top of this cut edge. After you have measured, cut, and prepared everything, you are ready to start installing!
