DNS Filtering Can Make Staff On Networks More Productive

The domain name system or DNS is a sort of address book where the numbers that IP addresses are made up of are translated into common names that can be easily understood.

You can use these names to block access to sites that are a threat or make for malware links, or of content that does not have your interest. This practice of DNS filtering allows any administrator of a computer network to limit the number of sites that can be accessed by people on the network, and can go a long way in reducing internet malware before it even reaches the network.

This helps to increase staff productivity as this can prevent the use of bandwidth being used by workers on the network from using it on sites that can distract them, enabling businesses to regain control of their networks for productive work.
