Choosing A Weighted Blanket

There are standard rules to choosing a weighted blanket. These blankets offer soothing effects by applying pressure to the user’s body. Here are three tips to help you get the most out of your weighted blanket.
The first step is to establish your body weight before you shop for the blanket. Then ensure you buy that which is 10% of your total body mass. If you weigh 130 pounds, the blanket should weigh 13 pounds.
Next, decide if the blanket you want to buy should have glass beads, plastic pellets, or polyester fiberfill. Blankets designed with plastic pellets are bulkier, while those built using glass beads are thinner. The ones with Polyester fillers tend to be warmer.
Weighted blankets are heavy and can prove challenging to wash. To avoid staining and limit the times you need to wash your blanket, consider getting one with a cover.
