Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are often used in tandem, but it is important to know each entails. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a broad term that encompasses any technology that can make intelligent decisions in place of humans; it also includes technologies like deep learning and machine learning. Machine Learning (ML) uses computers to learn from data examples to make more accurate predictions for future data. The two may sound similar at first glance, but they are different enough that their uses should be considered before implementing either AI or ML into your business strategy.
Artificial intelligence can be thought of as “intelligence exhibited by machines.” It often focuses on solving difficult problems for humans or machines to solve, but not impossible. Artificial Intelligence is the broad category of AI technologies like deep learning and machine learning.
